COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Hansen/Pierce Wealth Management Group recognizes that clients may wish to explore alternatives to the traditional transaction fee or “commission” compensation structure. Central to this discussion is an understanding of both the traditional brokerage relationship (a non-managed account) and a discretionary, fee-only (managed) account. To better understand how they may serve your needs, consider the following:
In a traditional brokerage relationship, the client authorizes the “buy and sell” decisions; account activity is directed by the client. Nothing happens in an account without the client's express verbal authorization.
Alternatively, Hansen/Pierce Wealth Management Group may manage client portfolios on a discretionary, fee-only basis.
A consultation with a prospective client will guide them in identifying which approach is best-suited for the client.
